UofL Hospital is located in downtown Louisville at the heart of the Louisville Medical Center bordered by Muhammad Ali Boulevard, Floyd Street, Chestnut Street and Clay Street. Our hospital is easily accessible from I-64, I-65 and I-71.

  1. Take Exit 136A Broadway/Chestnut Street.
  2. Merge onto S. Brook Street.
  3. Take a right onto E. Chestnut Street.
  4. Turn left onto S. Jackson Street.

UofL Hospital, UofL Brown Cancer Center and UofL Physicians Ambulatory Care Building

  • UofL Hospital and UofL Brown Cancer Center will be on your right. The Ambulatory Care Building will be on your left.
  • For UofL Hospital parking proceed past UofL Hospital. The UofL Hospital Parking Garage will be on your left.
  • For UofL Brown Cancer Center parking, proceed past UofL Hospital and the UofL Brown Cancer Center. The UofL Brown Cancer Center Parking Lot will be on your right.
  • For UofL Physicians Ambulatory Care Building parking, take a right onto E. Chestnut Street (skipping step 4 above). The UofL Physicians Outpatient Center Parking Garage will be on your right and you may park here for easy access to your appointments.

UofL Physicians Outpatient Center

  • For appointments at the UofL Physicians Outpatient Center, proceed to E. Muhammad Ali Blvd. Take a left. Take another left at S. Preston Street and another left onto E. Chestnut Street. (Or skip step 4 above.) The Outpatient Center will be on your left.
  • For UofL Physicians Outpatient Center parking, the UofL Physicians Outpatient Center Parking Garage will be on your right.
  1. Take Exit 136C Jefferson Street.
  2. Keep left to take the Brook Street ramp.
  3. Merge onto S. Brook Street.
  4. Take the 2nd right onto E. Market Street.
  5. Take the 2nd right onto S. Preston Street.
  6. Turn left onto E. Chestnut Street.
  7. Turn left onto S. Jackson Street.

UofL Hospital, UofL Brown Cancer Center and UofL Physicians Ambulatory Care Building

  1. UofL Hospital and the Brown Cancer Center will be on your right. The Ambulatory Care Building will be on your left.
  2. For UofL Hospital parking proceed past UofL Hospital. The UofL Hospital Parking Garage will be on your left.
  3. For UofL Brown Cancer Center parking, proceed past UofL Hospital and the UofL Brown Cancer Center. The UofL Brown Cancer Center Parking Lot will be on your right.
  4. For UofL Physicians Ambulatory Care Building parking, take a left onto E. Chestnut Street (skipping step 7 above). The UofL Physicians Outpatient Center Parking Garage will be on your right and you may park here for easy access to your appointments.

  2. Keep left to take the 9th Street ramp toward Jefferson Street.
  3. Merge onto S Roy Wilkins Avenue.
  4. Turn left onto W. Liberty Street.
  5. Turn right onto S. Preston Street.
  6. Turn left onto E. Chestnut Street.
  7. Turn left onto S. Jackson Street.

  3. Keep right to take the Jefferson Street ramp--Merge onto E Jefferson Street.
  4. Turn left onto S. 1st Street.
  5. Take the 1st left onto E. Liberty Street.
  6. Turn right onto S. Preston Street.
  7. Turn left onto E. Chestnut Street.
  8. Turn left onto S. Jackson Street.

  • 0 Min – 1 HR: $1
  • 1HR – 2 HRS: $2
  • 2 HRS – 3 HRS: $3
  • 3 HRS – 4 HRS: $4
  • 4 HRS – 5 HRS: $5
  • 5 HRS – 24 HRS: $9

Lost ticket pays the $9 rate. Attendant is on duty throughout the week. Credit cards accepted include: Visa, Master Card and Discover. 

Weekends: Parking is free from 11 p.m. every Friday until 6 a.m. Monday.
