Research at UofL Hospital
“Research is formalized curiosity.” – Zora Neale Hurston, Author and Anthropologist
UofL Hospital is a key component of the UofL Health Sciences Center and key to the center’s research mission. A significant component of our mission is to foster the discovery of new medical knowledge through research in an environment that promotes collaboration and inquiry. Our “formalized curiosity,” conducted by the faculty physicians of the UofL School of Medicine with the help of hospital and UofL Physicians staff, is helping lead to new treatments and procedures, as well as cures, now and into the future.
The links below provide more information about how our physicians, residents, students and staff are working every day with one common goal: to advance the science of saving lives.
